Joshua A. Heinz was a gregarious people-lover with a huge heart and gained satisfaction from aiding others. One of Josh’s passions in the last years of his life was working with animals. His best friend and companion was his dog, Jackson.

After he was tragically killed, his family established the Josh Heinz Foundation in March of 2014 in order to continue Josh’s legacy of exceptional service toward animals within the Jacksonville community.
